Writing Process

The six steps of the writing process according to Behrens are: understanding the task, gathering data, invention, drafting, revising, and editing. I personally spend more time on gathering data and I spend less time on revising/editing. I think gathering the data is more easier than the rest of the steps because all you have to do is collect the information of what your writing about, organize it, and your done. When it comes to revising/ editing I get too lazy to retype everything. I wouldn't be able to correct my own papers because I would just take out or put in words that aren't even necessary.
